  • About Brittany

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), my goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgemental space where we can explore your experiences and personal goals together. I understand that reaching out for support can take courage, and I’m glad you’re here.

I believe that healing and growth can happen through a genuine, trusting therapeutic relationship. I work alongside you, at your pace, to help you feel supported, understood, and empowered as you move toward meaningful change.

  • Background

With a background in education, my career began supporting adolescents and youth struggling with complex mental health and behaviour challenges. Depression

    Neurodivergence (ADHD and ASD)

    Life Transitions

    Trauma

    Burnout

    Communication

    Intrusive Thoughts

  • Approach

I choose a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to help individuals manage their anxiety and stress and to help empower meaningful change. I am interested and capable of integrating a range of modalities including:

    Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

    Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

    Nonviolent Communication (NVC)

Eye Movement Desensitzaion and Reprocessing (EMDR)

    Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT)

    Attachment Theory

    Mindful Self-Compassion

Flexibility in treatment allows me to draw from different approaches to collaboratively create treatment plans tailored to unique client needs.

  • Certification and Training

I graduated with a Master in Education (M.Ed.) in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia (UBC). I am in good standing as a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (licence #20356).

The Laughing Heart

your life is your life

don’t let it be clubbed into dank submission.

be on the watch.

there are ways out.

there is light somewhere.

it may not be much light but

it beats the darkness.

be on the watch.

the gods will offer you chances.

know them.

take them.

you can’t beat death but you can beat death in life, sometimes.

and the more often you learn to do it,

the more light there will be.

your life is your life.

know it while you have it.

you are marvellous.

the gods wait to delight

in you.
